Have you ever had the universe pull you off the fence and push you into the limelight?
That happened to me yesterday.
I have been working on a new podcast for the past few months, in between writing drafts of my book, and just kept pushing back the start date.
“I want to get further ahead,” I said, over and over again.
As part of one of those push-back moments, I scheduled the first episode to release wayyyyyyy out, on January 4th… and promptly forgot. That is until one of my clients reached out yesterday to tell me how much she liked the episode!
“WHAT PODCAST EPISODE?!?!?” I thought and then remembered.
So, yeah… my podcast launched!!!
WOOOHOOO!!!
The Unleashing Your Great Work Podcast, is my exploration of what drives us towards meaning, legacy, and impact… and what keeps us stuck, stymied and hesitating. I want to understand Great Work– Or, the Work that matters the most to the individual– so we can collectively do MUCH more of it.
I’m sharing what I’ve noticed as I’ve studied Great Work and my own lessons doing my own Great Work. And, I’m sharing interviews with people that I admire who are unequivocally doing Great Work in the world.
Episode one begins the conversation with the most important question: Why Does Great Work Matter?
It features a cameo from the one and only Alex, helping us understand that we ALL have Great Work inside of us, just ask our nine-year-old selves.
Check it out! And if you like it, you would help me ENORMOUSLY by giving it a 5-star review and/or sharing the link with your friends.
SHOWNOTES:
In this, the inaugural episode, we start at the very beginning: What is Great Work, and Why does it matter? And, of course, we start where all good podcasts should: with death.
Join me as we discuss:
- Why knowing from a young age that we will die sparks our desire for Great Work
- How Great Work feels
- Why the screaming face emoji is so important
- Who am I, and why does Great Work matter to me?
- What Great Work is, and what it isn’t.
