Manage Your Time and Your Mind to Do Great Work
The Great Work Community is here to help ambitious, change-making entrepreneurs MANAGE THEIR TIME AND THEIR MIND so they can get MORE CLIENTS, make MORE MONEY, and have a BIGGER IMPACT with their Great Work.
Leveraging accountability, time management, mindset hacking and community, the Great Work Community is where Great Work gets done.

Building a business that leverages your expertise to make things better is truly Great Work.
Why do it alone?
Be Powerfully Productive
Make a bigger impact
Overcome Procrastination
prevent burnout
We all want businesses that create freedom for us, and that impact the world.
We want:
- More clients who rave about the work we do together
- To make more money
- A platform to share our ideas, offerings, and values
- To leave a legacy behind us
(All of this is Great Work!)
What if I told you that I know the secrets that make these things entirely possible for you.
No. Not possible. PROBABLE.
Are you ready? I'm going to tell you right now.
(You don't even have to opt-in first)
Here it is:
To do great work you must:
Get started, even when you don't really know what you are doing.
Stay at it when you feel overwhelmed
Finish pieces and share them... especially when they don't feel ready.
Essentially: manage your time and manage your mind.
Do these things, over and over again, and you WILL do Great Work.
As straightforward as that sounds, it can be challenging.
It's a long game. A learning process. A journey.
Great Work is more like building a house-- brick by brick-- than it is like waving a magic wand and experiencing a transformation,
It requires steady, strategic action.
This is true at every stage of entrepreneurship.
Whether we are just getting started or closing in on 7-figures, we all need to up-level how we manage our time and how we manage our mind.
And while you can do that alone, I don't recommend it.
When you do it alone you are more likely to:
Stall out
When you do it with the support of a community, on the other hand, you will:
This is what we do in the Great Work Community.
Your mind and your time are inextricably linked
Have you noticed how subjective time is? It flies by when we are cheerfully occupied or in the flow. But, it slows to a crawl when we are waiting for something important or avoiding an important task.
This is because our experience of time is impacted greatly by the state of our mind.
But that's not all. It's also true that our mind is massively impacted by how we spend our time! When we are making progress and showing up for our goals in a matter-of-fact, no-big-deal way, our mind is calm and strategic. When we are jumping from thing to thing, switching gears, and never finishing anything, on the other hand, our mind can slip into a state of disarray, leading to procrastination, perfectionism, and burnout.
If we manage our mind, we can use our time wisely. And, if we manage our time, we can use our mind wisely.
I'll show you how in the Great Work Community.

Frequently asked questions
Sessions are not required! You should come to as many or as few as you can accommodate in your schedule. Each and every effort to align your time to your Great Work matters, even if you can only begin with one session a week!
Courses are entirely optional! They are called "Just In Time" courses because you will have access to them in the member portal for the entire duration of your membership.
The courses are there for you, if and when you need them.
If you don't have time to take any courses ever, that's entirely fine.
We will meet almost every week! If there is a national US holiday (like presidents day, 4th of July, Thanksgiving, or New Years Day scheduled on our usual meeting day we will not meet.
These will be clearly noted on our event page and I'll certainly remind you!
Great Work can span anything that calls to you from the inside. Some people explore their Great Work through art, family, travel and hobbies. Because I am a business coach, I am most involved in helping my clients build something of their own by growing their business.
You are absolutely welcome to join the community and create sacred time for your Great Work. Most of the tools will work exactly the same way, and you'll find that our community is 100% in support of you! If you are hoping to get coaching from me, we will simply focus on time and mindset management.
I think you will like it! But if, for any reason, you aren't satisfied with your first month in the Great Work Community, we will refund your money with no questions asked. In your second (and following) months, you can request a refund up to 3 days past your renewal date. For annual memberships, you can receive a pro-rated refund at any time.
If the Great Work Community membership feels out of your price range, trust me: I've been there. We offer a limited number of discounted and free memberships to people who need it. Please email support@amandacrowell.com to request the application.
One-on-one coaching is entirely different from the Great Work Community. While it is possible to receive some coaching through our "Hours of Greatness" feature, those are limited to the last Friday of the month and are only 30 minutes.
One-on-one coaching, where we work together twice a month to move your business forward through targeted and customized support, might be what you need if you are ready to drive your business forward and need support conquering sales, developing a content and sharing strategy, redesigning your website, or otherwise building an empire.
The good news is that the Great Work Community is included for every coaching client. Win-Win.
Quite the opposite, actually!
If you are just getting started with your business, you may want to take a business building course or work with 1:1 with a coach to get your business of the ground.
If, on the other hand, you know what you need to do to grow your business but you struggle to make progress, or feel overwhelmed by the scope of what you are trying to do, the Great Work Community is for you!
The Great Work Community is like any program; It works if you work it! Coming to our weekly gatherings, engaging in the membership channel, and experimenting with new ideas and strategies will lead to the best outcomes.
We meet for three, 1 hour sessions each week. If you attend each session, the time commitment is 3 hours. Keep in mind, however, that our Great Work Community sessions are working sessions, and will advance your Great Work at critical moments. It's not additional work, but support for the work that matters most.
The only technical tools needed to participate in the Great Work Community are an account on Zoom (a free account is fine), access to a web browser to engage in the membership community, and the ability to log into a course membership site.
The Great Work Journal. (GWJ) is not required to follow the Great Work Method. The GWJ can be helpful by reminding you of good habits, and creating a record of your Great Work which can be incredibly valuable. But, if you just aren't a paper and pencil person (reasonable), that's totally fine! I've provided sample pages of the journals in the member portal so you can try it out and then adapt it to your own way of working.
It is difficult to build a business without building an email list, especially if what you want to accomplish is to build a platform for your ideas so that people will read your book, listen to your podcast, and buy your products or services. That said, whether building an email list is at the heart of what we will do together in the Great Work Community depends on your personal focus.
I encourage my clients to get help as early as possible in their business building journey. Even 2 hours a week from a virtual assistant (VA) can be life-changing for the over-committed entrepreneur!
That said, the Great Work Community is support for you. It wouldn't make sense to send a VA in your place*, and it won't generate any extra work for you.
*The only exception to this is if you want to give your VA access to our courses, which we can arrange as needed.
The Great Work Community will not teach you how to build a business from scratch. If, however, you have worked with a coach in the past or are in a business building course but are struggling to put that knowledge to work, the Great Work community is a great place to work on implementation, time management and follow-through!
To decide if the Great Work Community is for you, consider whether you personally need support to manage your time and mind better to prioritize, say no, make progress, and overcome procrastination. If this would be useful for you, then YES! The Great Work Community will be valuable for you.
Yes, all are welcome. Our events are listed in Eastern Time on Mondays at 9AM, Wednesdays at 12PM, and Fridays at 2PM, but everyone is welcome if the converted time fits their schedule.
No, it is not. Both men and women are welcome to join the Great Work Community!
The Great Work community was designed to facilitate inspiration, business and marketing solutions, goal setting, access to resources, accountability, feedback, and community knowledge sharing.
We’ll cover specific tools to address challenges with workflows, time management, mindset, focus, marketing, content development, and to actively brainstorm innovative solutions that support the unique needs of each member.
As a member, you get to focus on your strengths, move past road blocks, stay accountable to business goals, and craft a business and/or a process that works for the life you want and the business you want to create.
